Petit fétiche féminin en provenance de l'ethnie Fon, utilisé pour les cérémonies Vaudou. La fonction principale du Botchio (boccio, bochio...) est de rentrer en contact avec les esprits de l'autre monde pour repousser les forces néfastes.
Ces fétiches sont soit placés dans des paniers, soit à lextrémité d'un baton.
Bois tendre, recouvert de kaolin puis de matières sacrificielles telles que sang, huile de palme, biére, bouillie de mil. Trois grelots en fer et un collier de perles.
Un petit sac contenant la charge magique, est maintenue sur le ventre à l'aide de morceaux de tissus et d'une cordelette.

Zärtlicher Holz, der mit der Porzellanerde dann mit den Opferstoffen bedeckt ist. Eine kleine die zauberhafte Aufgabe enthaltende Tasche , ist auf dem Bauch mit Hilfe von Stücken von Geweben und von cordelette aufrechterhalten.
Ein rotes Stück von Baumwollstoffen kleidet den Fetisch an.
Der Sockel gehört zur Skulptur.
