Small statuette idol representing a panther or a leopard.
The panther is a royal symbol of Abomey's realm (or Danhomè in
language Fon).
According to the legend, the dynasties of the realms of the South of
the Republic of Benin are native of Tado, city of current Togo and arose
from a mythical couple: the princess Aligbonon of Tado and a panther.
Beautiful bronze representation flowed in the lost wax.
