Traditional ancient Ashanti doll, tall size : 42 cm.
Wood dyes in black, beautiful expression of the face.
The akua mma or Akwaba is carried by the pregnant women, who do not have to put eyes on a being or a deformed object, of fear that their children look like them.
On the contrary, by looking at these expressions of the idealized beauty, they are supposed to favorized the beauty of their newborns.
